Collection of Access Data

I (or my web space provider) collect data about every access to the online offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, message about successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
I use the log data without assignment to the person of the user or other profiling according to the legal provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of the online offer. However, I reserve the right to retrospectively check the log data if, on the basis of concrete evidence, the legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.

Collection and use of Personal Data

Personal data will only be collected and used by me if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection. As a rule, it is recognizable to users when using the service which data are stored, such as name, e-mail address and message when using the order form. The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, email address, address, payment details) will be used by us to fulfill and process the contract. This information will be kept confidential, encrypted and will not be disclosed to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment process. When contacting me (via contact form or email), the details of the user are stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in the event that follow-up questions arise. I have taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and prevent accidental or intentional manipulation loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

Data Forwarding to Third Parties

The data of the users are only forwarded to third parties, if this is legally permitted or if a user has consented to the forwarding. This is the case, for example, when the transmission of the data serves the fulfillment of contractual obligations to the user and the postal address is transferred to a forwarding company, or if the data is requested from relevant agencies such as law enforcement agencies. The personal data of users are in no way sold or forwarded to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.

Comments and Posts

When users leave comments in the blog, portal, etc. or other posts, their IP addresses are saved. This is for my own security, if someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, I myselve can be prosecuted for the comment or post and am therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Integration of Services and Contents of Third Parties

It may happen, that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party provider”) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. I endeavor to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, I do not have any influence on this if the third parties provide the IP address e.g. save for statistical purposes. As far as I know, I will inform users about it.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

This online offering uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are recognizable on one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on blue tile / background, blue “f” on white tile / background, white “f” on black tile / background or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When a user calls a web page of this offer that contains such a plugin, its browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and incorporated by him into the website. I therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform users according to our knowledge:

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example, press the Like button or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him via this offer and associate it with his member data stored on Facebook, he must log out of Facebook before visiting the website. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the “Facebook Blocker”.

The content of the buttons is transmitted by Google directly to his browser and incorporated by him into the website. Therefore, I have no control over the amount of data Google collects from the buttons.

According to Google, no personal data is collected without a click on the button. Only for logged-in members of Google+, such data, including the IP address, collected and processed.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as the related rights and setting options of the users to protect your privacy, Google’s privacy notices to the “+1” button can be found: www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button and the FAQ: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.
