The ability of the minimalistic motif abstraction of the black and white process is decisive for the artistic intensification of an image and therefore for many the medium of choice, especially in the present day of “colorful pictures”. The motif and its effective gray value dynamics become the central design factor.
I can not mention it enough. I just love black and white images. Not only because I started with the photography in the analogous times – no, black and white images do not irritate by color and leave more scope for their own interpretation.
